Ok - Pictures w/ Macros (per Daddy)

I'm Not Sad, I'm Tired.

Well, when I do the Macros, I really need her to sit still as it doesn't take as clear of pictures when she is moving around a lot. And since she tired, she's a little slow. But the macros do make better close ups. Plus, I need to make sure I have decent lighting to get a good picture with macros, although since I am doing close-ups I don't really care about the background anyways. Those I just adjust the exposure & shadowing in the editing program.

Foot In Mouth

We went to the county family clinic this afternoon and she weighs 19 pounds 13 ounces, so a gain of 4.5 ounces this past week. She hasn't really been eating solids well (probably because of the {non} teething), but she has been nursing well.

I stopped at daycare to pick up the top ring to her stacking rings and left her in the car quick while I ran in and all the other kids were asking, "Where's Bel? Is she coming?" It was very cute. They like her there and she likes them too.

Hope you guys had a happy first Christmas with babe. I love the first picture in this post... too cute with those adorable cheeks. She is getting so big!

I haven't been able to post for a while... some problem with the new blogger, which I guess they fixed now (yay!). There were definitely posts I had things to say about, but I don't remember which ones now.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that your little girl is just cute as a button and that I am still here reading, and enjoying seeing her grow!

Happy Holidays!

Nice pics. Are you liking the new camera? You might try to see f it has a portrait setting on it instead of using the macro setting. Macro tends to be a slower shutter speed to capute more detail, but if she moves, it can get blurry. I know a lot of Kodaks have the portrait setting.
BTW I just adore those cheeks on her. Makes me want to pich them and make goo-goo noises to her :)

It does have a portrait setting, but she moves around too much for it and the pictures end up blurry.

I understand why you like to take pictures outside.....our house is too dark on the main level to get really nice pictures.....and there hasn't been a lot of sunshine lately.....

It's a super easy camera to use, which is nice. I can't wait to try some of the other settings on there -- like the snow one -- if we ever have anything that accumulates....
