She just can seem to get all the way rolled over onto her stomach. She gets most of the way, but can't get that arm from underneath her. She absolutly loves sitting & standing these days -- maybe now her bald spot will start to grow in. She's been scooting a bit on her back and did push off some when on her stomach. But she gets frustrated and starts getting upset and we have to flip her over. w
This was taken Sunday night.
Last night at class, we discussed playing with toy animals and what we teach them without necessarily thinking about it, like the name of the animal, the colors, the sounds, the way they move, where they live. And then we sang a bunch of songs about animals. During the adult part, we talked about feeding. They said we can start giving them solids to munch on,like cheerios, at 6 month because they don't need teeth to chew them, that they gnaw on them with their gums. But you aren't supposed to give them any wheat until after 9 months, so I will have to check the ingredient list for Cheerios. The instructor also really talked a lot about nut allergies, because her daughter has one and she could die if she doesn't get this shot within 20 minutes of having eaten even the tiniest bit of nuts. She has a very strict diet and they have to fly on a peanut-free airline (because nut dust gets in the air and she can breathe that in) and they had to change dog food after they realized that nuts/nut oil was used in the making of some dog foods (she had an allergic reaction after feeding her dog.) All the stuff she described was very scary.

Even the Cheerios website http://www.cheerios.ca/en/idealfood_step_1.html says to wait until 9 months. Also the ingredients says it contains wheat ingredients. That's settled then, we wait until 9 months.
Heh.
"nut dust"
She seems so interested in eating her hand. Forget the Cheerios. Just give her her whole fist and let her gnaw away like a little chipmunk. THOSE CHEEKS. OMG! How can you stand it? She's so cute.
I wonder when she will realize just how sassy her daddy is......
