With the last Santa she told him what she wanted for her big gift and he kept her list, so she wasn't sure what she was going to tell Santa this time because he already knew what she wants and has the list. I suggested she give him a couple of ideas of things to put in her stocking and she said candy and anything from Justice.

Santa and His Reindeer
I suppose reading Santa & his reindeer is misleading because these pictures only show antlers, well be sure to check out my Wordless Wednesday on 12/5 and you can see some reindeer. :)
This top picture is showing the hardcover book that Santa gave her. We could have gone at 9pm on Friday night too see Santa arrive by helicopter, but she really wanted to see a real reindeer. She was really hoping that Rudolph would be there, but he wasn't.

Cocoa with Santa & Mrs. Claus at the Art Center
This was the best picture I could get of them with Santa. Plus he's a much better looking Santa than the one at Wal-Mart that we paid to have pictures at. He was creepy and the pictures were awful and it was not a good experience. They rushed the kids and it was not fun, just stressful. This was good. The kids were not rushed.
The first picture is of Isabel telling Santa what she wants for Christmas and what Henry wants. The second picture is of Santa showing his special pocket watch to the kids.
Our family with Mrs. Claus who was playing Christmas carols on the piano while kids waited in line to meet with Santa.
Enjoying a cookie & hot cocoa with daddy.
Only picture I could get of both of the kids looking in my general direction at the same time.
Showing her jingle bell that she recieved after hearing the story of the Polar Express.
Eating her candy cane from Santa.
Listening to the head librarian read the Polar Express.

Santa @ Frbo Library
We had no idea Santa was going to be at storytime. If I did know, I would have made sure she picked out clothes that matched. Sometimes the outfits she picks out can be quite interesting. She was pretty happy to see Santa again. Of course, she told him she wants a pink unicorn pony (which she has told all the other Santas, she has seen him 4 times.) Santa gave all the kids a candy cane a d stuffed penguin, which she thought was way cool, that Santa was giving an early present.

Taste of the Holidays at Cashwise
Isabel enjoyed dancing to the carolers that were singing at the store. They thought she was pretty cute. We've been singing Christmas carols at home & in the car. Her favorite songs are Deck the Halls, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Jingle Bells and Winter Wonderland.
Here is a picture of Isabel with Santa.
With a little assistance from daddy, Isabel wrote a letter to Santa and then decorated the letter and also painted him a picture. He seemed impressed that she did all that for him. I don't think kids write letters to actually give to Santa these days much. Anyways, you can see her giving it to him. She was VERY excited to give it to him. The decorated letter is on one paper and then a painting on a another paper and them she glued them together.
Isabel had her visit & picture with Santa when we first got to Cashwise, but Henry was sleeping. By the end of our shopping trip (& all the samples - tastes of the holidays) he was awake and we took pictures of him with Santa. Isabel was so excited to see Henry with Santa that she gave up going on her beloved penny horse so that she go with Henry. Isn't that sweet! We told her since Henry just woke up we were going to have to go home right away after he sat on Santa's lap because he would be hungry ( & HE WAS!) and she would go onthe penny horse with daddy while mommy & Henry went by Santa.Isabel says she loves Santa and that "He's the Best!"

Isabel Meets Santa

Well, it didn't go as well this year as it did last year. She had her "stranger danger" alert going off. We had been reading Santa stories and she likes the picture of Santa on this big poster cutout and she liked the real Santa when he fist walked in the door and was 30 feet away from her, but by the time he was 5 feet away she was scared. She was already crying before she sat on his lap.
We went to tne Community Center in Dousman where their Chamber of Commerce sponsored this Children's Christmas Party. It was all free and was very nice. It was nicely decorated and the middle school band was playing Christmas Carols. Isabel loved the band and clapped right after every song. Instantly when the song was done she started clapping. She would clap and giggle and have a huge smile on her face. Daddy waited in line for Santa (they actually had these staggered rows of chairs, which I am sure parents appreciated.) Anyways, while daddy waited in line we sat at a table and colored. They also sold food and xmas cookies there. It was nice. They also gave each child a stuff xmas character (she got Rudolph), a candy cane, & a sugar cookie.

Letter to Santa
I helped Isabel write her letter to Santa tonight. I downloaded this template and then changed the words to fit her and she colored all over it.She will leave out her list on December 5th and St.Nick (aka Santa) will come to retrieve her list & check to make sure she is being good and then will leave her a few little treats if she is being good.
