Morning Time (Breakfast & Play)

This is Why it's Called an Activity Gym

A couple of weeks ago she figured out that she can move things with her feet, so she pushes the activity gym with her feet. It's not uncommon to see her lift her leg and see her rest it on the top of the mini try on her highchair. She is al about exploring what she can do with her feet and legs.

And you thought the activity gym was just for grabbin & hitting the toys dangling from it.

I Can Feed Myself.

Well, sort of. We give her a spoon to play with and she puts it in her mouth as if she were feeding herself, but she usually sticks it in too far and starts to gag, but that doesn't stop her from trying. She's been doing this for a while now. She will also try to grab the spoon out of your hand and bring it to her mouth if you aren't shoveling it in fast enough. She'll even lean over and stick her mouth right next to the bowl so you don't have far to bring the spoon and can shovel faster -- then you know she's REALLY hungry.

The bib was part of the outfit as well. So, that's why I chose that one today.

New Favorite Mealtime Toys

It used to be things she could bat at and make spin. But now it's things she can pick up and hit on the table and highchair and make noise with them or crumple them to make noise. It's all about cause & effect of making noise.

Checkout er cute little bear barrette. You can see it nicely in this pictuer.
